Dr. Tracey Steady

Our Dean – Dr. Tracey Steady, DACM, MSTOM, FGP

Dr. Tracey Steady serves as Dean of Students at DNA University and Clinical Director at The DNA Company, where she combines nearly two decades of clinical experience with a deep commitment to education, mentorship, and advancing the field of functional genomics. Her career has been defined by a passion for developing exceptional practitioners through rigorous scientific education, compassionate leadership, and clinically relevant training.

She earned both her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degrees from Pacific College of Health and Science. Since 2007, she has practiced Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, with advanced clinical training in women’s hormonal health, including menstrual health, fertility, perimenopause, and menopause.

Dr. Steady has built an accomplished academic career spanning higher education, clinical instruction, and professional continuing education. She has served as an Independent Study Supervisor and Guest Lecturer in Chinese Medicine at Simon’s Rock College of Bard, Guest Lecturer in mindfulness practices at Berkshire School, and Clinical Preceptor for the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has also designed and delivered continuing education programs for Yale New Haven Health Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and Healthy Seminars, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and practitioner development.

Since joining The DNA Company in June 2024, Dr. Steady has led the Women’s Functional Genomic Health Initiative, focusing on the integration of functional genomics into personalized approaches to fertility, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), and the menopausal transition. In her dual leadership roles, she is dedicated to translating emerging genomic science into practical, evidence-informed clinical education that equips healthcare professionals to deliver more precise, individualized care.

As Dean of Students, Dr. Steady is committed to fostering academic excellence, scientific integrity, and a collaborative learning environment that prepares the next generation of practitioners to lead the future of precision health.

Dr. Krista Kostroman is the Chief Science Officer at The DNA Company, where she oversees all scientific research and product development. With a background in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Kostroman bridges the gap between traditional medicine and cutting-edge genomics, ensuring that our products are both scientifically robust and holistically beneficial.

Lynn Angel, CFGP

Lynn Angel is a Certified Functional Genomics Practitioner, Functional Bloodwork Specialist, and Functional Health Therapist, specializing in heavy metal toxicity. After her career as a renowned chef in South Africa was cut short by mercury and lead poisoning, Lynn recovered her health and dedicated herself to functional health. She provides personalized care based on genetic blueprints, focusing on detoxification and lifestyle changes. Passionate about helping others achieve vitality and longevity, Lynn combines cutting-edge science with compassionate care, guiding her clients toward optimal health. Outside of work, she enjoys travel and culinary exploration.

Dr. Mohammed Mansoor, Co-founder, The DNA Company Canada

Dr. Mohammed Mansoor is a renowned clinical genomicist and co-founder of The DNA Company. With over two decades of experience in genomics research and clinical practice, Dr. Mansoor has played a pivotal role in developing the scientific foundation of The DNA Company Canada. His expertise in genetic interpretation and personalized medicine has transformed the way we approach healthcare, making it more predictive, preventive, and personalized.

Dr. Stephanie Nielsen, PharmD, CNN, CFGP, BHRT Specialist, and Autoimmune Specialist

Dr. Stephanie Nielsen is a leader in food-based medicine, initially earning her Doctor of Pharmacy to heal through pharmaceuticals. After battling cancer at 21 that didn’t respond to medication, she turned to natural remedies and healed herself, realizing the balance between natural and Western medicine. After a decade in Big Pharma conducting clinical studies, she shifted to her passion for folk medicine and became certified in clinical nutrition, functional genomics, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She now focuses on autoimmunity, hormone health, and nutrigenomics through her program, Wishing You Wellness.

Justin Harris, CFGP

Justin Harris is a Certified Functional Genomics Practitioner, Primal Health Coach, Certified Nutritionist, and Strength and Conditioning Coach (International Sports Sciences Association [ISSA]), specializing in personalized health strategies. With expertise in functional genomics, he tailors nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle plans based on individual genetic profiles. His coaching draws on evolutionary biology and ancestral health, emphasizing natural behaviors like sun exposure, toxin avoidance, and physical activity. Justin leverages his background in the supplement industry and fitness to optimize fat burning, muscle building, and inflammation reduction for his clients.
